Follow-up and coordination offices work to follow up on all matters related to facilitating and organizing procedures between sector departments and other sectors, as well as coordinating with the Director General’s office regarding directives received by sector departments, coordinating meetings and following up on all incoming and outgoing messages related to the sector.Providing full and comprehensive administrative support to the Sector Manager.Receiving visitors and auditors for the sector manager and answering phone calls.Coordination with external bodies and internal organizational units with regard to the sector manager’s meetings and documentation of meeting minutes.Follow up on the completion of directives issued in internal and external meetings.Preparing the official correspondences to external parties and internal correspondences and circulars and following up the response to them based on the directives of the sector manager.Receiving internal correspondence and presenting it to the sector manager and forwarding it or responding to it according to his instructions.Coordination with external parties and internal organizational units regarding the attendance of the sector manager for internal and external events, conferences and exhibitions.​

​Organizes administrative work, manages correspondence, receives auditors, and arranges meetings and agreements.​

​Monitors the effectiveness of operations and financial reliability, applies accounting and legal regulations, defines the scope of internal audit, carries out analysis and evaluation of accounting documents, data reports and financial flow charts, analyzes and evaluates accounting documents.​

​The center undertakes the task of examining the disputes arising from the rental relationship between its parties and the requests they submit and sending them to the competent committee for adjudication, and implementing the court rulings in this regard.​

Provides advisory and legal services to the organizational units, gives opinion and advice on legal documents, reviews and drafts contracts, agreements and memoranda of understanding. 

Enhances and develops effective internal communication between the senior management and employees. Represents the organizations in official forums and events. Publishes press news in traditional and social media. Organizes and manages the organization’s events, exhibitions and seminars. Regulates outdoor advertising in the city of Sharjah.​

Follows up the implementation of the organization’s strategic plan, prepares and analyzes various surveys and statistics, adopts corporate excellence programs, applies local and international quality standards, and participates in local, regional and international awards.​

Provides and applies the best advanced technology systems. Develops technical infrastructure. Plans and manages databases and application platforms. Provides the best and latest technical solutions in network and information security. Prepares studies on electronic services. Provides suggestions for developing and supporting all information systems.​

Implements administrative policies and laws in accordance with the Civil Service Law of the Emirate of Sharjah. Appoint, plans and distributes manpower according to the work requirements. Enhances employees’ performance by training and motivational programs, and evaluates their performance and discipline.​

Implements and regulates the policies and laws of the organization’s approved financial budget, monitors expenditures, accounting and financial affairs, and coordinates with the concerned external parties in related matters.​

Follows up on security deposits, bids, and bank guarantees related to purchases, tenders and contracts. Organizes and plans procurement operations in accordance with established standards and specifications. Manages and reviews suppliers’ compliance with the terms and conditions of procurement contracts and authorizations.​

​​It monitors the storage of materials in warehouses, the movement and turnover of inventory, and works to develop the storage system. It also specializes in issuing items to the requesting parties according to exchange documents, maintaining all items and monitoring their daily movement.​​​​

Issues building permits for ordinary construction and building completion certificates. Studies building plans. Prepares bills of quantities, technical specifications and prices for all engineering works. Carrie out structural auditing of concrete works. Sets and monitors the application of security and safety requirements. Evaluates and certifies engineers and contractors.​

Issues building permits after ensuring compliance with the approved requirements. Coordinates with local departments and federal authorities regarding building requirements. Conducts structural, architectural and sanitary audits.​

Manages and operates drainage facilities. Follows up on carrying out drainage projects, sewerage connections and network extension. Supervises the existing sewage treatment plants in Sharjah city and the East Coast region.

Expands green areas and city landscaping. Implements agricultural works in the public parks and carries out maintenance for its facilities. Operates plant nurseries to provide seedlings for the agricultural projects. Monitors the progress of irrigation and agricultural operations. Follows up on the maintenance of existing irrigation networks. Carries out public health pest control.​

Provides public services to residents, investors, and government departments, such as land and road leveling. Carries out maintenance works for the municipality’s premises and facilities and makes the required structural modifications to them.​

Operates and maintains the organization’s equipment and vehicles. Supervises the testing and evaluating of drivers upon appointment. Follows up on vehicles and equipment accidents, registration, insurance, violations, possessions and complaints.​

Prepares, develops and follows up the implementation of the programs that are concerned with the health and safety of community members and environmental protection, such as the food safety, health, environmental and agricultural safety programs. Supervises the conformity assessment requirements for Public Health and Central Laboratories Sector.​

Monitoring and periodic inspection of food, health, non-medical, veterinary and environmental facilities and the extent of their commitment to health conditions and standards to ensure the upgrading of the elements and pillars of quality of life in accordance with the leading standards of living in the Emirate of Sharjah.​

Conducts analytical tests and examinations for building materials, environment, food materials, consumer goods and livestock through the implementation of the federal and local laws and regulations, and international standards for chemical, microbiological and physical tests to ensure consumer safety.​​

​Conducts medical tests and issues medical fitness certificate for visa procedures. Issues disease-free certificates and occupational health cards. Provides veterinary treatment and prevention services for pets.​

Increases the organization’s investments and financial resources. Submits proposals for investment projects. Manages the organization’ properties and assets. Regulates food trucks areas and issues relevant required permits.

Provides integrated and comprehensive services to ensure the happiness of customers. Manages and supervises the organization’s customer service centers. Operates the Call Center and coordinates with the competent departments regarding requests, comments and inquiries.​​

Ratifies lease contracts. Approves landlords’ cards and naming of buildings. Arranges requests for rental disputes and sends them to the competent committee to decide on them. Implements court rulings on rental cases.​

Regulates and controls the use of public parking spaces in the city of Sharjah. Converts allocated zones into paid parking. Issues public parking subscriptions. Regulates private parking businesses in coordination with the competent authorities.​

Carries out continuous inspection to ensure the preservation of the city’s aesthetic and civilized appearance. Cracks down on negative practices and organizes awareness and inspection campaigns to eliminate them. Carries out vehicles’ withdrawal, impoundment and release. Follows up on workers’ accommodation and their requirements. Implements the guarding system for the labor accommodations and public places that come under the municipality’s supervision.​
