Approval Engineering Drawings

Service Description
- A service that enables engineering consultancy offices to submit a request for auditing plans for the purpose of "plan approval" for new projects, modification projects and expansion projects. It also enables them to follow up the status of the request, modify the request, receive engineers ’notes, receive the approved plans, and a certificate of approval of the plans.
Service Execution Steps
- Service Channel:
  - Sharjah City Municipality website / Our electronic and smart services / Building Permits Administration Services / Plans Approval Service.
  - Service delivery times: (24 hours, seven days a week).
  Service delivery procedure:
  - Log in to the service using the user account (an engineering consultancy office accredited by the Sharjah Municipality).
  - Enter all required data into the system.
  - Attach all required documents to the system.
  - Agree to the terms and conditions.
  Pay the fees. (In new projects, fees are calculated by the consultant through the system, in modifition and expansion projects, fees and violations are calculated by the engineers of the Sharjah Municipality).
After Service Steps
- New projects:
  - After submitting the application, the consultant must follow up on the status of the application through the user account on the website of the Sharjah City Municipality
  - The Building Permits Services Section checks the required documents. If there are missing documents, the application will be rejected and the application will be returned via the system to the user's account (consultant).
  - In case the request is rejected, the consultant must modify the request.
  - If the documents are complete, the engineers 'notes will be uploaded on the plans through the system. The response of the engineer will depend on the daily work schedule.
  - The consultant must update the application and re-attach the modified plans according to the engineers' notes.
  - Once the engineers 'notes are completed, the approved plans and the approval certificate will be sent over the system to the user's account (consultant).
  Modified or Expanded Projects:
  - After submitting the application, the consultant must follow up on the status of the application through the user account on the website of the Sharjah City Municipality
  - The Building Permits Services Section checks the required documents. If there are missing documents, the application will be rejected and the application will be returned via the system to the user's account (consultant).
  - In case the request is rejected, the consultant must modify the request.
  - If the documents are complete, the fees and fines will be calculated by the engineers of the Sharjah City Municipality and the payment link will be sent to the consultant.
  - After paying the fees, the consultant must update the application. the engineers 'notes will be uploaded on the plans through the system. The response of the engineer will depend on the daily work schedule.
  Once the engineers 'notes are completed, the approved plans and the approval certificate will be sent over the system to the user's account (consultant).

  General Terms and Conditions for the Acceptance of the Electronic Service:
  
  1. The information entered in the fees calculation screen is correct.
  2. Ensure that the submitted plans match the plans issued by the relevant official authorities.
  3. The obligation to inform the owner of the standard contract form issued by the Sharjah City Municipality.
  4. Commitment to all requirements of the UAE elevator control system, if any.
  5. Commitment to hand over all original guarantees issued by suppliers regarding the materials used in the project to the owner.
  6. Ensuring all kinds of insulation works through supervision and follow-up.
  
  I, as the provider of the transaction (Engineering Consulting Office), acknowledge my full responsibility for fulfilling the condition mentioned above and that I bear all the consequences decided by the municipality in case of violation.
