Applying for a certificate of free sale for a non-food product in the local market
  • Service Description
    • 1. Submit an application for obtaining the certificate of free sale with all required documents.
      2. Provide a clear photo of the product showing all product details.
      3. The submitted documents for the products will be reviewed according to the UAE and GCC standards for consumable non-food products in terms of its quality and effects on public health, in addition to the external and internal product cover.
      4. If all requirements met, fees will be paid and product certificate issued.
      5. Provide the product registration certificate (ECAS) issued by ESMA for perfumes.
      6. A sample of the product may be requested for lab testing.
  • Service Execution Steps
    • 1. Valid trade license.
      2. Product contents certificate.
      3. Biochemical analysis of the product.
      4. Product registration certificate (ECAS) issued by ESMA (compulsory for perfumes).
      5. Photo of the product.
      6. Photo of the product external cover showing all required details.​
  • After Service Steps
    • The product free sale certificate will be issued against a fee of Dhs500 for one or two product, covering all sizes of the product.
