​Sharjah Municipality celebrates UAE Flag Day amid feelings of pride and belonging

Sharjah City Municipality celebrated the UAE Flag Day, which falls on November 3. The municipality participated in this event by raising the UAE flag in the front yard of the municipality Head Office, with the participation of Thabit Al Turaifi, the Director General, assistant Director Generals and a number of civil officials and employees.

Thabit Al Turaifi, Director General of Sharjah City Municipality, said, “The Flag Day is an occasion in which our hearts beat in love for our homeland. We wait for this occasion every year to renew loyalty and belonging to our wise leaders and homeland."

Al Turaifi added, “On this occasion, we recall the achievements of our country in all fields and the aspirations achieved under the leadership of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may God protect him, and his brothers the Rulers of the Emirates. We are very proud that our country has reached the space, made achievements after achievements, and become a role model for all countries."
