Sharjah Municipal Council and Municipality Honour Former Rental Disputes Committee Members

In recognition of their dedication and contributions to enhancing the work system, the Sharjah City Municipal Council and Sharjah City Municipality organized a ceremony at the municipality’s headquarters to honour former members of the Rental Disputes Committees. The event celebrated their efforts over the years in implementing laws and regulations governing rental relationships and in advancing the system to ensure the delivery of top-quality services with precision and efficiency, in line with the ongoing development strategy.
The ceremony was attended by H.E Salem Ali Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Sharjah Municipal Council; H.E. Dr. Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Sharjah Judicial Department; H.E. Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of Sharjah City Municipality; along with other officials from the council and municipality.
H.E. Salem Ali Al Muhairi emphasized that this recognition reflects the council’s and municipality’s commitment to prioritizing human capital, following the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. He highlighted the vital role of individuals in the journey of development and progress, noting that human resources are the cornerstone of building society and serving the nation.
H.E. Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji commended the efforts of the honoured committee members, acknowledging their significant contributions during their tenure. He highlighted their role in modernizing services, enforcing regulations, and elevating Sharjah’s position by ensuring seamless services and resolving rental disputes efficiently. He also noted their success in integrating digital transformation to facilitate communication between parties involved in disputes.
Al Tunaiji further pointed out the members’ notable contributions in enhancing the municipality's role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. He praised their efforts in developing remote litigation processes, which enabled participants to attend sessions from any location, overcome logistical challenges, and resolve urgent cases swiftly and effectively.
