394 thousand tenancy contracts attested since beginning of last year

5/12/2022

Sharjah City Municipality (SCM) has announced that it has made 48 e-services related to lease contracts and rental regulation available on its website. These electronic services give customers the opportunity to complete their lease transactions easily. They include tenancy contract attestation, inquiring about rental lawsuits, requesting a lease contract document, and inquiring about the rental indicators and many other services.
The SCM attested about 307 thousand lease contracts last year, and more than 87 thousand contracts during the first quarter of the current year, through the SCM website and service centers located in various areas of the city of Sharjah.
The SCM is keen to regulate the relationship between landlords and tenants and ensure the protection of their legal and contractual rights.
