Sharjah Municipality organizes introductory workshop on its digital service for approval of drawings

1/4/2021
Sharjah City Municipality (SCM) organized a virtual workshop for engineering consultancy offices to demonstrate its new digital service for approval of drawings and plans, which will be launched soon on the SCM website.
The Building Permits Department is working with the Digital Transformation Department at the SCM to automate all service-related processes. The SCM answered all inquiries related to the new digital service prior to the official launch of the service, to ensure that all service users could use it without any difficulties.
The SCM has added many features to the traditional service, such as the ability to follow up on transactions, and amend and update them, when required. The new service also allows the consulting offices to calculate construction fees for new projects and pay them directly according to the building area.
