Sharjah Municipality modifies sewage tanker working hours in Muwaileh commercial area

6/6/2021

Sharjah City Municipality (SCM) has modified the working hours for the sewage tanker entering to and exiting from Muwaileh commercial area.
The SCM will follow up on this decision to ensure the commitment of the tankers operators to the new timing system in order to ensure residents’ comfort and reduce the obstruction of vehicle movement, since Muwaileh area is a place for large population and economic movement. This decision comes in line with the SCM role and its keenness to provide the best services to the public.
Thabit Al Turaifi, Director General of the SCM said that the new timing for the entry and exit of tankers in Muwaileh commercial area will be in two shifts. The morning period will be from 8:30 am until 1 pm. The evening shift will be from 11 pm until 6 am.
He pointed out that the SCM formed teams to follow up on tankers’ commitment, in cooperation with the General Command of Sharjah Police. The teams will raise the awareness of the tankers’ operators about the new timings and will give them a sufficient period of no less than two weeks before implementing the decision.
