Sharjah Municipality issues 1146 free public parking subscriptions to the elderly

Based on the visions and directives of HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah to provide all the required facilitations for the elderly, Sharjah City Municipality has issued 1,146 free annual subscriptions to the elderly so far as part of the initiative to exempt them from public parking fees.
Thabit Al Turaifi, Director General of the SCM, confirmed that these elderly subscriptions were completed online or by visiting the Public Parking Department building, pointing out that this initiative embodies the municipality’s care for the elderly.
