Sharjah Municipality honors winners of its Excellence Award 4th edition

Sharjah City Municipality honored yesterday a number of its distinguished employees who won the Excellence Award at its fourth edition this year. The honoring ceremony was held at its main building in Al Mussalla area. The Municipality organizes this award annually to encourage positive competition among its employees and to improve their professional performance as well as their personal and leadership skills.

"This award comes in line with the visions and directives of HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and his interest in building and motivating the human resources," said Thabit Salim Al Turaifi, DG of Sharjah City Municipality.

He added that holding the excellence award for the fourth year is another achievement of the Municipality to celebrate the employees who worked hard with perseverance to maintain a high level of performance.

 

For his part, Eng. Khalifa Bin Hedda Al Suwaidi, Assistant DG for Engineering and Building at the municipality and the Chairman of the Award Evaluation Committee, said that 40 winners were honored in all of the award categories, including the distinguished director, the distinguished employee, the distinguished team.

He pointed out that the evaluation committee is composed of 8 members. The employees' keenness to participate reflects their enthusiasm to make achievements and to be proud of them. The committee was keen to select the most distinguished entries that meet the set criteria.​​
