Sharjah Municipality decorates streets and public squares in celebration of 50th UAE National Day

Sharjah City Municipality (SCM) has decorated the main streets and public squares in celebration of the 50th UAE National Day.
Salem Ali Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Sharjah City Municipal Council, said: “This occasion brings to us ultimate happiness and pride for the achievement that our country has achieved over the past 50 years.”
“The Municipal Council and Sharjah City Municipality are keen to celebrate the national occasion and share this festive atmosphere with the public.
Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of the SCM, pointed out that the decoration of streets and public squares reflects the municipality's strategic role in spreading joy and happiness throughout the city of Sharjah.
He added the Sharjah National Park will be hosting the Sharjah emirate's celebrations on this immortal occasion. The municipality has closed the park for a short period in order to complete the necessary preparations for the success of the celebrations.
