Sharjah Municipality continues landscaping works

5/16/2021

In implementation of the directives of HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, Sharjah City Municipality (SCM) has continued its agricultural and landscaping projects, as 58,000 m2 of green areas have been completed at the American University of Sharjah and Police Science Academy. Around 24,000 seasonal flowers, 5,000 flowering trees and 300 palm trees were planted over 2,600 m2. The SCM provided 100 tons of organic fertilizer for this project.
The SCM assures that sustainability is part of its strategy. It carries out agricultural projects throughout the year in accordance with a plan to increase the green area annually.
