Sharjah City Municipal Council and Sharjah City Municipality celebrated the UAE Flag Day at the SCM headquarters Al Mussalla area. The flag was raised amid feelings of pride.
Salem Ali Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Municipal Council, other council members, assistant director generals of the SCM and a number of employees were present.
Al Muhairi stressed that this occasion is an opportunity to renew loyalty and belonging to our wise leadership and our state.
He pointed out that the UAE flag is a symbol of pride, sovereignty and unity. The celebration of this day stems from the values of loyalty and belonging to our homeland and its leadership.
Al Muhairi added that this year's celebration is exceptional, coinciding with the country's preparations to celebrate its 50th National Day and its golden jubilee.
