Sharjah City Municipality, represented by its Engineering and Building Sector launched the star classification system to rate the performance of the contractors and consultants in Sharjah as per their respective category.

The consultants and contractors performance will be rated according to specific criteria including quality of engineering services, administrative development, professional experience and compliance with the applicable rules and regulations.

These criteria assist prospective building project owners to select the right consultant and contractor to accomplish their building projects.

The star classification system was officially launched during an introductory seminar presented by Eng. Zainab Al baqeesh. Head of Contractors and Consultants Classification Section at Sharjah City Municipality.
