​Sharjah City Municipality (SCM) organized a health awareness workshop for its employees in Dasman Park Hall. The workshop discussed the proper ways to prevent heat exhaustion, as workers are more exposed to it during summer and high temperatures.
Reem Al Roussi, Director of HR Department said that this workshop comes within the training and awareness program organized by the SCM at the beginning of the summer to raise health awareness among its field workers and boost their safety.
She pointed out that the workshop dealt with many topics related to heat exhaustion, such as heat exhaustion symptoms and ways of prevention, and tips on how to deal with heat exhaustion. The workers also learned how to provide first aid and necessary assistance to the patients.
