Sharjah City Municipality (SCM) announced that it will provide 20,000 iftar meals to its workers, in cooperation with the Investment Bank, during the holy month of Ramadan.
“Distributing iftar meals to fasting workers is one of the annual charity initiatives that Sharjah Municipality is keen to organize every year in cooperation with other government and private partners,” said Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of the SCM.
Al Tunaiji pointed out that the Investment Bank will distribute about 20,000 meals throughout Ramadan in partnership with the municipality.
For his part, Ahmed Mohamed Abu Eida, CEO of Investment Bank, said: "We are very proud of this partnership with Sharjah Municipality. We are keen in the Investment Bank to support initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of community members. The Investment Bank's participation in this initiative is an expression of our pride in this wonderful work and our support for all initiatives consistent with the values of the blessed month of Ramadan.”
