Sharjah Municipality's Call Center receives 132,000 calls in 2020

1/26/2021

Sharjah City Municipality (SCM) stressed its keenness to boost communication with the public as its call center received more than 132,000 calls during the past year.
These calls included general inquiries, service requests, urgent incident reports, suggestions and comments. They all were treated with utmost accuracy.
The SCM has shifted its call center from its main building to a new office located in the Customer Happiness Centers building. This step reflects the municipality’s keenness to develop its buildings and facilities according to the best specifications and standards.
The call center's new office has a larger space than the previous one, and is equipped with several services and surveillance cameras. It is provided with safety equipment and preventive measures. Walls were painted with special painting to reduce echo. Offices have been allocated for quality officers to monitor the performance of the call center employees, while other offices were allocated for the shift supervisors.
