Sharjah City Municipality takes center stage in the UAE Innovation Month, unveiling a host of ground-breaking projects aimed at revolutionizing municipal services. The initiative underscores the municipality's commitment to digital transformation and harnessing artificial intelligence to elevate service delivery.

The municipality inaugurated its participation in the UAE Innovation Month at its main headquarters in the Al Musalla area. The event was attended by Dr. Suleiman bin Sarhan Al Zaabi, the Director-General of the Department of Municipal Affairs, along with other dignitaries, council members, and staff.

Obeid Saeed Al Tunaiji, DG of Sharjah City Municipality, emphasized the municipality's annual participation in the UAE Innovation Month as a reflection of its commitment to enhancing its services in line with the qualitative leap witnessed by the emirate across all sectors. This underscores the importance of fostering innovation among employees to present distinguished ideas that are developed into innovative projects.

The event saw the introduction of innovative ventures like the Smart Inspection System and the Universal Testing Machine, both designed to enhance efficiency and accuracy in various sectors.

Reem Abdullah Al Russi, Director of Human Resources, emphasized the municipality's dedication to nurturing innovation among employees, with workshops and programs aimed at refining skills and fostering creativity. The event also showcased the Smart Lens System, a cutting-edge tool empowering citizen to provide feedback seamlessly through WhatsApp, revolutionizing public engagement.
