Sharjah Municipality Honors Suggestions Assessment Team

HE Thabit Salim Al-Turaifi, Director General of Sharjah Municipality, honored the suggestions assessment team at the Municipality's main building. The team was formed to study and select the distinguished suggestions submitted by employees through Iqtrahi electronic system.

He said during the honoring ceremony that the assessment team exerted great efforts during the past year to study the suggestions submitted though Iqtrahi electronic system and to select the best suggestions based on specific and transparent criteria.

He pointed out that "Iqtrahi" was designed to promote creativity and innovation in the work environment and motivate employees to think out of the box and provide innovative ideas.

For her part, HE Sheikha Shatha Al-Mualla, Assistant Director General for Public Health and Central Laboratories, and the head of the "Iqtrahi" team, said that the suggestions system aims to turn views and ideas of the staff into documented initiatives and procedures, and hence improving work performance and boost productivity.​
