SCM concludes participation in UAE Innovation Month with 19 innovative workshops

Sharjah City Municipality concluded its participation in the UAE Innovative month activities that were held in the University City Hall in the emirate of Sharjah with 19 workshops targeting the visitors who thronged the event venue, particularity children.

This event was a great platform for all government entities in Sharjah to showcase their latest innovative projects.

"The SCM was keen to be part of this event to shed the light on its latest innovative projects and to provide a great opportunity for children and teenagers to benefit from the creative ideas and out-of-the-box solutions that were showcased at the event," said Thabit Salim Al Turaifi director general of the SCM.

He pointed out that the SCM exhibited at the UAE innovation month an innovative model of the mobile pumping station, Al Sad, which is truck mounted diesel driven self-priming pump suitable for sewage bypass and flood control applications.

 

Reem Al Roussi, HR director and head of the innovation team at the SCM said that the municipality held 19 innovative workshops for children and visitors of the event to creative an interactive platform for them to provide and exchange their innovative ideas with the lecturers and peers.
